What kind of fabrics do you use?

Our material choice is based on four main criteria: strength & durability, price, environmental impact, and quality & feel of the fabric. This helps us in choosing our fabrics.

We prefer to work with only natural and sustainably sourced fabrics. Our preferred choice of fabrics are organic cotton, linen, and silk.

Where are your collections made?

We manufacture our products ourselves, and we make sure fair wages and a clean and safe work environment for our employees.

We are a homegrown brand, all our fabrics are locally sourced from suppliers. All our fabrics and garments are made in India.

Why am I unable to see the product online?

We work on a lean production model, with a short product cycle, which means we produce limited quantities in each style and color. Once the product is ‘out of stock’ it is unlikely to be available again. The same style may come back in different colors and prints.

We recommend you grab what you love at the earliest. We work on providing every collection in limited quantities, to avoid wastage and leftover stock. This makes your Bougainvillea pieces exclusive and truly special.

We provide garment specific details under each specific style. You can check the composition and care of the garment under the product. We also provide custom size guides specific to every garment on their respective product pages.

This means that you can learn about how the silhouette is designed to fit, so you can choose the right size based on your size and styling preference.

  • For all COD orders, we have a shipping charge of Rs. 100
  • We offer COD for orders up to Rs. 10,000
What is the delivery time?


We’ll get your order to you as soon as possible.

Once the order is placed on the website, your order will be shipped within 1-3 business days (sometimes the very same day).

Once the order is shipped, we try our best to deliver it within 1-4 business days in tier-I cities and 3-10 days all across India.

Please note during festivals, adverse weather conditions, and public holidays, your shipment could be further delayed.

What options are available for exchange/returns?

We have 7 days of exchange policy.

From the date of delivery, you have the option to exchange the garment in the same style with a different size or a different style.

You can share the reason and order details at to raise the exchange request.

What options are available for refunds?

As a company policy, for the time being, we do not offer refunds on your purchases but we do provide you an option for exchange in the same style for a different size or a different style altogether or store credit for future purchases.

Please note refund will be issued in the form of store credit only applicable for both online and offline purchases, valid for up to 90 days. You can you the store credit for future purchases with us.

Is my product eligible for exchange, how do I exchange my purchase?

1. We offer the option to exchange the garment in the same style with a different size or a different style. In case your required exchange is not available, we offer a store credit for the amount spent.

4. Important thing to keep in mind while sending back the product for seamless return/exchange:
All items must have the original tags and should be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged with no smell of perfume, deodorant, or detergent, should be free of makeup or tan marks and must be in their original packaging.

5. Once the product is received at our end, we will dispatch the required size or style based on its availability.

6. In case the required size or style is not in stock, we will issue a store credit.

7. You can use the store credit for future purchases with us. Store credits are applicable for both online and offline purchases, valid for up to 90 days.

When will I receive the exchanged item?

1. Once your product reaches us, and after checking the product details we will provide you with exchange/return confirmation and your exchange/return will be processed.

2. For exchange in the same style with different sizes, or in a different style, your order will be shipped in 1-3 working days after the exchange/return confirmation.

When will I receive my store credit?

1. We offer a store credit in case you do not require an exchange or where the exchange option is not available.

2. The store credit will be sent to your registered email ID and will be valid for 90 days from the date of issuance for both online and offline purchases.


What are the accepted payment methods for domestic transactions?

For all prepaid online payments in India.

We use Razorpay and PhonePe Payment Gateways.

You can use any UPI, Credit or Debit Cards, Wallets, or Net Banking provided by both of these payment gateways.

We have COD available in India with a Rs. 100 shipping charge.

What should I do if my payment fails?

In case you have received a message of payment failure, you may try to place the order once again. However, if your amount has been debited, please do not retry - chances are that your order has already been received by us.

If the payment is debited and the order is not placed, you may get the refunds from your bank or you may get in touch with your bank on the transaction details.

What if my payment is declined?

We would request you to check with your bank, in case of insufficient balance and/or if your payment method is currently valid. You could also try clearing your cache and reattempting with a different payment method or bank account.

Money is debited but I haven't received any confirmation?

Please share your email ID and the exact amount charged to us at so that we can quickly check at the payment gateway and inform you accordingly.


What kind of care does my garment need?

We provide care instructions below every product page and on the care label of your Bougainvillea piece.

Organic Cotton

Home care: hand wash in cold water with mild detergent, do not bleach, dry flat out of direct sunlight, warm iron. Dry cleanable.


Home care: hand wash in cold water with like colors, do not bleach, line dry in a cool and dark place, steam out before wear. Dry cleanable.

Cotton-Linen Blend

Home care: hand wash in cold water with like colors, do not bleach, hand dry in shade, iron warm. Dry cleanable.


Hand-dyed with AZO free dyes, silk has to be dry cleaned in order to avoid color bleeding.

Steaming is the best method to keep your pieces from wrinkling.
